I Made it to the Top Stories of 2022
This is a brag, not a humblebrag
In January of this year, I wrote a story that did rather well. And I’ve been riding on its coattails ever since.
I’m proud of this story as I put a lot of effort into researching and writing it. Sure, a few people critiqued it — most made fair comments and only a couple were simply nitwits. What I loved most (well, maybe as much as the money) was reading about the 231 commenters’ experiences of being a young Baby Boomer (AKA Generation Jones). It’s a generation I look up to and I love hearing from you.
Anyway, here’s the evidence someone liked my story:
I’ve put similar effort into researching and writing other stories, but they never gained the same traction. And that’s fine.
2022 has been a great year for me working on my writing, compiling musical playlists and participating in a community of pretty awesome writers and readers. So thank you for being my Medium friend!
