I really feel for you. My parents were looking forward to retirement but instead had to deal with my drug addicted sibling (compounded by the pandemic). Luckily the kids are with my sibling’s ex partner, who is wonderful. I can’t imagine how difficult it is for you with no stable parent for your granddaughter. I’m sure she’ll grow into an amazing person with your support, though.
