I’m Gen X so getting on, but I’ve never liked crowds so I seek out festivals where there is room to move around and space to enjoy shows from the back or side of the crowd. Two festivals I still like going to are Womad in Adelaide and Øya in Oslo. I’ll finally be using my 2020 Øya ticket this August. I live in Barcelona but didn’t go to Primavera Sound as I knew the crowds would be insane. Great lineup though.
