I’m not a man but I also like a little healthy competition and the whole concept of participation medals irks me. My nephew is 17 and growing into a fine man and I think part of that is because he has good mates and is in a cricket club. Maybe some men and boys don’t need all male spaces but many do and are entitled to them.
