In high school and university, I took as many humanities subjects as possible. History and literature were my favourites. As a second grader in 1980s Australia, I learnt about WW2, the Holocaust and the Cold War. It helped explain the world I was living in. Grateful I got a pretty good education and sorry kids are missing out on this today.
