My Thoughts on the New Partner Program Incentives

Most of you know about the changes coming to this platform’s Partner Program this August.

More incentives for good stories

That’s great. We all love good stories.

But I think we need to dig a bit deeper into what the platform means by “good stories”.

Fewer incentives for clickbait, derivative and AI-generated content

Cool! I hate that crap. In fact, that kind of writing shouldn’t be on the platform at all.

Fewer incentives for “misinformation, hate, and other forms of polarizing negativity”
