Not all landlords are evil and greedy. I’m renting out my apartment in Australia below market rate because the tenant moved in during the fun year that was 2020. Since then my mortgage repayments have gone up a lot so I need to raise the rent to cover that as I can’t afford the extra payments plus my own rental costs in Spain which went up this year.
